Following a government announcement, we are delighted that we will able to start seeing our patients again from 8th June 2020.
We would like to assure our patients that we are taking all the necessary precautions to reopen safely. This includes providing our staff with the relevant post COVID-19 training, having all the necessary PPE in place and implementing extra safety protocols and policies of our own to keep both patients and staff safe.
On reopening, priority will be given to those of you with the greatest need of treatment and patients who have experienced pain or infection during lockdown will be contacted first. We will then start to reschedule more routine appointments when we receive further guidance from the government about what we can and cannot do.
We will contact you to make an appointment and, as part of a Covid-19 screening process, this will now involve us asking you specific questions prior to a surgery visit. This is to ensure the safety of both patients and staff, so please don’t be offended and answer all questions to the best of your knowledge.
We would also like to make you aware that surgery appointments will be different from before. We will need to take precautionary measures to safeguard all those involved and this may include waiting in your car until your appointment time, temperature checks and hand washing upon arrival and pre-payment.
Thank you again for you patience and understanding at this time. The well being of our patients and staff is always our utmost concern and we will be working hard towards a safe reopening.
We look forward to seeing all of our patients again soon.
Best wishes and stay safe,
The High Peak Dental team
